MORPHING BALL ACQUIRED!
This is a scene of blue brinstar from FSMR (First Super Metroid Remake), and I know the room is missing the mechanical eyeball thing that follows samus with the yellow beam but FSMR is still in it's early stage and we have not yet started on that mechanical creature thing. This room is ACTUALLY PLAYABLE, that means this is an official screenshot of the game along with the other 2 previous. Room design by me, programming by Octohunter and AlexR, all credit goes to Nintendo of course =)

From the looks of things, you're using the original sprites from super metroid. Nice looking, but the scenery looks a bit too much like zero mission. style clash IMO. Also, I hope you have a spriter and such for graphics, because getting areas like green and red brinstar to match the zero mission graphics will be tough.

And does super metroid really need a remake? :(

actually, that is samus from MZM, recolored with the pallet from super metroid. the scenery is also MZM so the style matches perfectly. green brinstar's tile set is almost done because I am the official spriter, take a look at it in one of the mock-ups. and I agree... red brinstars tileset is tough O_o
well, we aren't saying you cannot play the original, play ours from now on... but there are those few who think it needs a remake.

Oh! I forgot to add something! the reason the morphball looks like super metroid is because that is morphball without springball, and that is the SA-X morphball ripped directly from fusion and recolored (yes the morphball is different from super) check some of the older looks at FSMR as well.

Yay, I might've managed to spread Metroid Prime's purple gravity suit idea a bit more ^v^
